Ingredients to make VRK Butter Chicken –

chicken – 250 to 300 gms
onion -1, roughly chopped
tomato – 1, roughly chopped
almonds – 10, boiled & peeled
sea salt
ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
garam masala powder – 1 tsp
kasuri methi – 1 tbsp
some chopped coriander
butter – 3 to 4 tbsp

Instructions to make butter chicken –

marinate chicken with salt, ginger garlic paste and red chilli powder. refrigerate 30 minutes

In a pan, add in butter. saute onion and tomato.for 10 minutes . add almonds
blend into a fine puree and strain well. set this puree aside.

In the same pan, add butter and fry the marinated chicken pieces until tender. keep aside.

Now add the puree in the same pan, plus the fried chicken pieces, garam masala powder, butter and dry kasuri methi leaves.

cover and cook on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes

add chopped coriander, cook for 5 more minutes on low flame.

Butter Chicken is ready to serve !
