Famous Restaurant Style Delicious | Butter Chicken | Chicken Recipe


Butter chicken is one of the most popular chicken recipes. Golden fried chicken pieces are cooked in a creamy tomato base. It is best served with roti, naan or rice.

Ingredients

To marinate chicken

1 Kg Fresh skinless Chicken
4 Tbsp Yogurt
1/2 Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Paste Ginger & Garlic
1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
1 Tsp Garam Masala
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Butter

To make masala Sauce

1 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Oil
2 Medium size onion chopped
2 Tbsp ginger and garlic paste
3 Medium sliced tomatoes
2 Tsp red chili powder
1-1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
1-1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Garam Masala
1/2 Cup of water
10-12 Cashew nuts

To make butter chicken

1 Tbsp Butter
1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Fresh Cream
Fresh coriander Leaves

Method:

1. Take the fresh skinless chicken pieces in a bowl, add yougurt lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, salt
2. Mix everything well, and marinate the chicken for minimum 30 minutes
3. Heat a pan and add 2 Tbsp Butter
4. Fry the chicken pieces till they are cooked and keep them aside
5. In a pan heat 2 Tbsp oil and 1 Tbsp butter, add onions, once they are golden brown add ginger and garlic paste and saute them
6. Add tomatoes and: red chilies powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cook them with 1/2 cup of water
7. Add cashews saute all for 5 min more
8. Once they are cooked, cool them and grind them to a fine puree
9. Heat the same pan, add 1 Tbsp butter, 1/2 Tsp red chili powder, 1 Tsp salt and add the puree onto the pan
10. Bring the sauce to a boil, add the fried chicken pieces after mixing well cover it on low flame for 10 min
11. Add 1/2 cup fresh cream and simmer the sause for about 2-5 minutes
11. Finally, add fresh coriander leaves, cover it for few minutes to have rich taste and nice aroma
12. Serve it hot with naan, roti or rice.
