Quick Nutritious Pressure Cooker Chicken Stew Recipe Indian Style For All Ages – Healthy Chicken Recipe

Ingredients required for making chicken stew –
* chicken with bones – 1 kg/2.2 lb
* Potato – 2 to 3 large / 315 gm / 11 oz
* Turnip / saljam/ salgom – 1 medium
* Green Papaya – 200 gm/ 7 oz / half of a papaya
* Carrots – 3 medium / 200 gm / 7 oz
* Ginger – 2 inch by 2 inch
* Garlic – 4 large cloves. Use less if you are not a garlic lover.
* Onion – 3 medium/ 200 gm/ 7 oz
* Frozen Green peas – 1/3 rd cup / If using fresh ones add it along with the other vegetables
* Lemon/lime juice – 1 tablespoon
* Dry bay leaves – 2 to 3
* Cinnamon stick – 2 inch length
* Green cardamoms – 4 to 5
* Black peppercorns – 1 teaspoon. Grind them coarsely. Use less if you think it will be too spicy for you.
* White Flour (all purpose flour) – 1 tablespoon + 2 tablespoons
* Salt to taste
* Oil – 2 tablespoons
Serve this with roti, naan, a toasted bread or if you are a rice lover like me then there is nothing like rice !!!!
