2 cup matchstick carrots
2 cup diced celery
8 cloves garlic, minced
6 tablespoons all purpose flour
24 oz (2 can) evaporated milk
64 oz (2 quart) chicken stock
8 cups shredded cooked chicken or 1 whole rotisserie chicken shredded
2 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 2 teaspoon dried thyme)
2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper (or to taste)
salt, to taste


4 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoon, baking powder
2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 2 teaspoon dried thyme)
1 1/2 cup (12 oz) whole milk
8 tablespoons butter, melted
