Strawberry Bread Dessert Recipe
Ingredients:

• 2 slices of bread
• 1 tbsp salted butter
• 1 tbsp powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp milk
• Additional 1-2 tbsp of milk (if needed for consistency)
• 2 tbsp strawberry syrup (or strawberry jam/mixed fruit jam)
• Sliced strawberries for garnish

Instructions:

1. Take 2 sliced of bread. I have used white bread. You can try using wheat or multigrain bread. Cut to remove the edges.
Then cut to make squares and keep it aside.
2. To prepare the stuffing, take 1 tbsp salted butter, 1 tbsp powdered sugar, 1 tbsp and 1 tbsp milk. Use melted butter in order to combine everything properly. Add 1 more tbsp of milk if required to adjust the consistency.
3. Spread the prepared mixture onto one of the bread squares, then top it with another bread square to create a sandwich. Repeat this process for the remaining squares.
4. Take the remaining mixture and add 2 tbsp strawberry syrup. Alternatively you can use strawberry jam or mixed fruit jam.
5. Add approximately 1 tbsp milk. If you are using jam add more milk to adjust the consistency.
6. Lighly coat all the sides of the prepared mini sandwiches. Don’t soak it deep otherwise it will be soggy. You can make more using the ingredients in this proportion.
7. Slice a strawberry and place it on top of each sandwich for a decorative touch.
8. Refrigerate the mini sandwiches for at least two hours.
9. Once it is chilled, serve it and enjoy this delightful dessert.
