Hi friends welcome back to my channel today I am going to share with you the most quick and easy chicken teriyaki recipe. this is a very simple 5 minute recipe for home-made teriyaki chicken.With juicy tender pieces of chicken glazed in a sweet and savoury teriyaki sauce made from scratch. this authentic Japanese chicken teriyaki recipe comes together in just five minute using basic ingredients.In this video I have also shown teriyaki sauce recipe which is very much cheaper than commercial sauces contains less than a third of the sugar of commercial sources and is much better to boot.This sauce goes well with chicken, beef, pork ,salad and veggies and lots more this quick and easy at home teriyaki sauce can be used as a marinade ,glaze or dipping sauce.

Step -1 toasted sesame seeds

In a medium heat pan toast 1 tablespoon sesame seeds until slightly golden in colour and set it aside

Step -2 teriyaki sauce recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoon soya sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon Mirin
1 tablespoon sake
1 Teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoon olive oil
2 tablespoon chicken stock
1 tablespoon water

METHOD

1.In a bowl mix it well all ingredients until well combined and set it aside

Step three prepare chicken

Chicken thigh boneless with skin on

Method

1.When the surface of the chicken is glossy used paper towel to dry out both the sides
2.Poke the chicken using a fork to help absorb the flavours of the teriyaki sauce
3.Apply 2 tablespoon cornstarch on both the sides of the chicken and set it aside

Step four teriyaki chicken

Method

1.Cooked chicken skin side down in a nonstick pan over medium heat without oil because we are using skin on chicken ,you don’t even have to add in the oil
2.Use tongs to press down firm on the chicken to ensure it cooks through evenly and gets a nice brown crust
3.Once the chicken is brown on one side, flip it over cook the chicken until the skin is golden and looks crispy and set it aside
4.In a heated pan add 1 teaspoon oil ,1 tablespoon garlic sliced and 1 teaspoon ginger sliced
5.Fry it on medium heat for one minute ,add in all the teriyaki sauce
6.Spoon the sauce over the chicken until the sauce is thickened
7.Frequently spooning the sauce over the chicken
8.cook on medium heat until the sauce is reduced ,now add toasted sesame seeds soft and juicy chicken is ready to serve
9. garnish it with cherry tomatoes ,toasted sesame seeds and spring onion
