Ingredients to make the Hyderabadi chicken curry: 1/4 cup oil 700 grams Chicken Bay leaf 1-inch cinnamon 4 cloves 1 black cardamom 1-star anise 10 black peppercorns 4 green cardamom 1 green chili 3 Onions (big size), sliced & deep fried 1 cup Curd/Yogurt 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste Salt to taste 2 tsp Coriander powder 1 tsp red chili powder (Kashmiri red chili powder) 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp Garam masala powder 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves Mint leaves 10 cashews 1/4 cup saffron milk (pinch saffron soaked in 1/4 cup of warm milk.) 1 tsp lemon juice 2 tsp Ghee/clarified butter Instructions: 1) Marinate the chicken with the ingredients listed above. 2) Cook the chicken on medium heat until the gravy starts to boil. 3) Simmer the heat & cook on low heat for 20 minutes. 4) Hyderabadi chicken curry is ready to serve. Tips to make the perfect Hyderabadi chicken curry: 1. Marinate the chicken for 4 hours or overnight. Cover & keep it in the refrigerator to marinate for 4 hours or overnight. 2.
