Easy Chicken Kebabs | How to make delicious Chicken Kebabs | Chicken Kebab recipe


This is a simple and easy Chicken Kebab recipe. I have infused this with smoke from hot Charcoal. This is an old technique used by our grandmothers to give a smoked barbecue flavour to the meat.

Ingredients
300 gms chicken breast – cut in cubes
1 small onion
3 green chilles
4 garlic cloves
1 in ch piece of ginger – cut in large pcs
10 mint leaves
1/2 cup coriander leaves
2 slices white bread
1 tea spoon salt
1 table spoon lemon juice
1/2 tea spoon garam masala powder
1 piece of Charcoal
1 cup oil for frying and 1 tablespoon oil for smoking the coal

Method
Take a mixer grinder or food processor and add to it 1 small onion,
3 green chilles, 4 garlic cloves, 1 in ch piece of ginger – cut in large pcs,
10 mint leaves, 1/2 cup coriander leaves, 2 slices white bread and grind to a coarse mixture
Add to this 300 gms chicken breast – cut in cubes, 1 tea spoon salt,
1 table spoon lemon juice, 1/2 tea spoon garam masala powder and further grind all of it to a coarse paste
Remove this mixture into a large bowl and place another heat proof small bowl in the centre
Take a small piece of Charcoal and heat it to red hot
Place it in the small bowl and add 1 tablespoon oil over it
This will create a lot of smoke so you have to cover it immediately
Let it sit covered for 30 minutes, this way the chicken kebab mixture will get infused with all the smoke
Open this after 30 minutes and take 3/4 table spoon of this mixture and make round kebabs, flattening them in the centre
Shallow fry them on medium heat 3 to 4 minutes each side
