Recipe starts: 0:39. Cute and healthy vegan “bird nest” dessert for Easter! Vegan, refined sugar free, oil-free, and gluten-free recipe that everyone in the family will love 🙂 Full recipe below!

Vegan Easter Birds Nests
makes bout 24

1 cup almond butter (room temp)
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
3-4 cups vegan rice crisps cereal*

No Whey Food’s NoNos Chocolate Covered Pretzels (vegan + gluten-free)
pistachio nuts
vegan dark chocolate covered almonds
vegan marshmallows
raisins or dried cranberries

Combine almond butter and maple syrup. Stir in cereal until well coated and sticks together easily.

Form in two 12 muffin sized tins and free for 30 minutes or cover and refrigerate over night.

Remove from muffins cups and top with “eggs” of your choice.

*Rice crisps work way better than the rice puffs I used because they don’t get soggy. You can use puffs if you have them but they’re really only good if eaten right away as they tend to get a little soft compared to the other variety 🙂
