Capsicum chicken in gravy | Chicken Shimla Mirch | yummy dinner recipes

Let’s make something with chicken today…
Today we are going to make
Shimla Mirch Chicken/ Capsicum chicken

Chicken 1kg
Onion 1 chopped
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomatoes 2 chopped
Capsicum 4 medium cut in cubes
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1 and half tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Oil 1/3 cup

Add oil in a pot.
Add onion and saute well until brown.
Add ginger and garlic paste and saute again for about 3 minutes.
After that add chicken and cook until it changes the colour.
Add all spices and salt and mix well.
Add tomatoes and some water.
Cover and cook until tomatoes are soft.
After 20 minutes give the whole gravy a good mix .
Now add capsicum and cover again for 10-15 minutes.
At the end add some green chillies and serve hot with naan or chapati.
