I cannot tell you how amazing this particular ASMR eating dessert video was to film! I discovered this lovely French pastry shop, Recolte, on the UWS with my boyfriend while attending a Blue Bottle Coffee event across the street. Recolte’s kouign amann, which was not filmed here, was SO delicious that day I knew I had to come back for more. And boy, did I! I’m not kidding people—EVERYTHING here is fantastic, and it’s no wonder, as their pastry chef has won numerous awards for his work.
There were originally gold leaf decorations on many of these delicious treats, but they were somewhat lost in transportation. Definitely a great spot to visit when you’re in NYC.
