Beef Khala Bhuna – Ingredients List
Main Ingredients
• 1 kg beef brisket
• 125 ml cooking oil (neutral oil)
Whole Spices
• Cardamom
• Cloves
• Cinnamon
• Bay leaf
• Star anise
Base Ingredients
• 300 g onions, sliced
• 1.5 tbsp garlic paste
• 1.5 tbsp ginger paste
• 6–8 green chillies
Ground Spice Blend
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp cumin powder
• 2 tsp coriander powder
• 3 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
• 2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Liquid
• Water as advised in the video
Khala Bhuna Special Blend
• 1 tbsp kalonjee (nigella seeds)
• 1 tbsp celery seeds (radhuni)
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
Tarka (Final Tempering)
• 4 tbsp mustard oil
• 1 tbsp garlic, chopped
• 100 g onions, sliced
