Chicken sukka Maharashtrian style | Quick & easy chicken sukka recipe | Dry chicken recipe In this video, I am sharing the "Quick & easy Maharashtrian Chicken Sukka" recipe. Ingredients: To make the green masala: • 1 onion, sliced • 10-12 garlic cloves • 1-inch ginger, roughly chopped • 3-4 green chilies (add as per taste) • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, tightly packed. • 2 tbsp grated coconut To marinate the chicken • 500 gram Chicken, cut into bite-size pieces • 1/4 cup thick curd/yogurt • Salt to taste • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder • 1 tsp Coriander powder • 1 tsp Garam masala powder • 2 tsp Kanda Lasun Masala Instructions: To make the chicken sukka • 1 tsp lemon juice • Coriander leaves To make the green masala • In a mixer/grinder jar add onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies & coriander leaves. Grind it coarse without adding water. • Now add grated coconut & grind. Make sure the mixture is coarse. • Do not add water. If necessary then add only 2-3 tsp water & grind. Set it aside. Green Masala paste is ready. To marinate the chicken • In a mixing bowl, take chicken & add curd/yogurt, salt, cumin powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder & Kanda lasun masala. Combine everything well. Set it aside. To make chicken sukka • Heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat. • Add the marinated chicken & prepared green masala paste. Mix everything well. • Stir; continue to cook, until chicken is cooked well. (approx. 15 minutes) • Sprinkle 2-3 tsp water if necessary. Do not add more water. • Add lemon juice & coriander leaves & stir. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. • Spicy & flavorful Maharashtrian chicken sukka is ready to serve. • Serve chicken sukka hot with Bhakri, chapati, or steamed rice. Cooking tips: • Kanda lasun masala is easily available in the market. Or you can purchase it online. • Kandha Lasun masala is spicy. Add as per taste. • Skip adding red chili powder, green chilies & garam masala powder, if you prefer less spicy.
