Top Smoothie Recipe – Jay and Sarah


More often than not Smoothies are our go-to breakfast and brunch options. They are super convenient to make, you can pop everything into a blender and boom breakfast is served. If you want to be extra prepped you can make a bulk lot of smoothies and store them in the fridge, when you’re ready and shake em up and go. If we know we’re running late to get the kiddies to school they get a smoothie on the go as well. Berry booster Serves 2 Time 5 minutes 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries 1 cup Spinach ½ cup Coconut cream 1 tablespoon maple syrup or liquid honey 1 ½ cups Almond milk or water Optional: 1 scoop of protein Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve. - Cheeky Choc Serves 2 Prep time 5 minutes 2 ripe Frozen Bananas 1 tablespoon Good quality cacao or cocoa powder 1 cups milk (cow’s, almond, rice, coconut) ½ cup coconut cream Optional: 1 scoop of protein 1-2 tablespoons Honey or Pure maple syrup Combine all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little more liquid if needed in order to achieve the desired consistency. Pour into glasses to serve. - Banana & Peanut Butter Serves 2 Prep time 5 minutes 2 ripe Frozen Bananas ¼ cup Coconut Milk or cream 1 cup milk (Eg Cow’s, almond,) Optional: 2 tablespoons Peanut butter Combine all ingredients in the blender and mix until smooth consistency. Add a little more liquid if needed in order to achieve the desired consistency. Pour into glasses to serve. If you want a hint of greens in your diet put in a handful of spinach for extra nutrients – you won't even taste it. - Green - o - Colada Serves 2 Prep time 5 minutes 2 cups Spinach 1 cup coconut milk 1 cup water 2 tablespoons coconut flakes 2 cups pineapple, fresh 1 small banana Combine all ingredients in the blender and mix until smooth consistency. Add a little more liquid if needed in order to achieve the desired consistency.
