Ingredients::
1.Chicken 500 grams(boneless or thigh cut into small pieces)
2.Two medium size onions (chopped
3.One tomato (chopped)
4.4-5 garlic cloves (chopped)
5.1/2 inch ginger (chopped)
6.Green chillies (chopped)
2.2-3 tbsp of oil
Dry ingredients:
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chicken masala powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds or jeera
Method ::
Marinate the chicken with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder ,red chilli powder ,chicken masala ,1/2 tsp oil.
Heat a tawa or frying pan and add 2 tbsp of oil.
Add chopped garlic,ginger,green chillies,onions.
when onions became soft n golden add marinated chicken..
Cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
when chicken is soft add all the dry ingredients.
Coven for minutes and cook.
Add chipped tomatoes n cook for 5 minute.
when oil n masala get separated from chicken lower the flame n cook with out lid.
Now your tawa chicken is ready.
Serve hot with chapatti or Naan.
