Learn how to make this healthy & refreshing Strawberry Smoothie. This is a thick, sugar-free smoothie made with both yoghurt and milk, but no ice. The basic recipe is just 4 ingredients and the rest is just garnish. This Strawberry Smoothie recipe takes only a few minutes to make and can be prepared in advance. You can even refrigerate it for up to 2 days without discoloration. Since fresh strawberries are already so sweet, there’s no need to use sugar. However, if you wish to increase the sweetness, honey would be the better option. The recipe is loved by people of all ages, but especially kids. It’s a wonderful way to add fruits into your children’s diets. It’s also great in extremely hot temperatures during the summer months. The cooling effect of yoghurt, mixed with the sweet flavours of strawberries, make this an essential Summer Drink. This recipe is a wonderful drink for vegetarians as well. If you do not eat dairy, you can substitute the yoghurt and milk for Almond Milk or Soy Milk. However, you may not achieve the same thickness without yoghurt.
