Ingredients
chicken, curry cut - 500 grams
oil - 2 tbsp
1 big onion, sliced
ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
salt to taste
red chili powder - 1 tbsp
3 green chilis, slit
lemon juice - 1 tbsp
curry leaves - 2 sprigs
mint leaves, chopped - 2 tbsp
coriander leaves for garnish
Chicken Fry Preparation
In a kadai, pre-heat 2 tbsp oil
add 1 big onion (sliced) and fry until golden brown
add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste sauté for a minute
salt to taste, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 3 green chilis (slit), 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 sprigs curry leaves, 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
mix well
cook for 25 mins
do not cover
keep stirring
let water evaporate
add 1 tsp garam masala
sauté for 1 min
garnish with coriander leaves.
chicken fry is ready
Can be served with Steamed Rice, Sambar Rice...
