This chicken kurma recipe is a great one for beginners and bachelors. Preparation work is just chopping the onion and tomato. You don’t have to grind anything. We are going to use coconut milk and it makes this kurma so yummy and mouthwatering. Do try this kurma and serve it with rice, idly, dosa, chapathi or poori. Ingredients:
Chicken - ½ kg
Onion - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green chilies - 2
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Chili powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Method:
Heat a kadai, add some oil to it. Add chopped onion, green chilies and fry until it gets translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell leaves. Add chopped tomato and fry until it turns mushy. Add chicken pieces and fry for a minute. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and mix everything together. Cover and cook until chicken is nice and tender. Add coconut milk and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Chicken Kurma is ready. Serve it with hot rice or dosa.
