Shredded Beef Burger:
Ingredients for beef
Chilipowder 1 tbsp
Dried oregano 1 tbsp
Paprika 1/2 tbsp
Onion sliced 2
Clove garlic 6
Cumin 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ground black pepper 1 tsp
Oil 3tbsp
Beef 300gm
Tomatoes 3
Lemon juice of 1
Other ingredients,
Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
Carrot thinly sliced 1
Cucumber 1/2
Cilantro leaves 1/2 cup
Burger buns 2
Method:
Sauté beef in a pan for a while then add all the ingredients along with water and cook until soft and tender then add lemon juice and shredded itall. Toast buns in a pan, Spread about 2 tablespoons of mayo on a bun, top with warmed beef, shredded carrot, cucumber and cilantro.
Chickpea Salad:
Ingredients
Chickpeas 1 cup
Olives sliced 1/2 cup
Cucumber thin sliced 1/2 cup
Tomato (Julienne) 1/2 cup
Onion (thin sliced) 1
Coriander chopped 1/2 cup
Extra virgin olive oil 1/4
Lemon 1
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and toss well, until fully mixed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
