Try out this Shinwari Chicken Biryani and let us know how it turned out. #ShinwariChickenBiryani #MasalaChickenBiryani #SooperChef Chicken Shinwari Biryani Ingredients for Chicken Shinwari: Oil 1 cup Chicken 700g Salt 1 ½ tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp Black pepper (crushed) 1/2 tsp Green Chilies (whole) 5-7 Water 1 cup Tomatoes 6-7 Ginger (julienne) for garnishing Green chilies (julienne) for garnishing Ingredients for Boiled Rice: Water (for soaking) as required Guard Basmati Rice 2 cups Water (for boiling) as required Salt 1 tbsp Whole Spices 1 tbsp Vinegar 1 tbsp Ingredients for Layering: Guard Rice (boiled) Chicken Shinwari Coriander leaves as required Mint leaves as required Green Chilies as required Lemon Slices as required Directions for Chicken Shinwari Preparation: 1. In a pot heat oil and add chicken, ginger garlic paste, salt and cook until chicken changes color. 2. Add black pepper, and green chilies and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium flame. 3. Add tomatoes, water and bring it to boil. Turn the flame to medium low and cover and cook until 80% water dries out. 4. Take off lid, and remove the tomato skin. Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium high flame or until smooth gravy has formed. 5. Add green chilies and ginger for garnishing and take off flame. Your Shinwari Chicken is ready. Directions for Boiled Rice Preparation: 1. In a bowl add water and Guard Basmati Rice. Soak for 20-25 minutes. 2. In a pot heat water and add salt, whole spices, vinegar, soaked rice and boil until rice is 80% done. 3. Strain and set aside. Directions for Layering: 6. In a pot add a layer of rice, chicken shinwari, rice, chicken shinwari again, garnish with lemon slices, green chilies and cover and steam over low flame for 10-15 minutes. 7. Your Shinwari Chicken Biryani is ready. Serve hot and enjoy. Preparation time: 20 mins Cooking time: 40 mins Servings: 4-5
