It's reducing the milk with lots of patience, then cooking the soaked tapioca pearls in slow & low.You can sense the mellow aroma 😌😌 of pearls as they soften in milk, their starch turning consistency of milk silk-like. Easily creamy without adding in cream.I must say that it's a must try dessert if you haven't tried it yet.It will not only satisfy ur taste bud but also provides u lots of energy.
Ingredients:
For soaking sabudana
- Sabudana 1 cup (sago)
-Milk 1 Cup
Method:
-Wash the sabudana thoroughly ensuring with minimum starch. Soak the sabudana in milk for minimum an hour.
For making kheer:-
- Water 2 tbsp
-Milk 1 litres
-Sugar 1/3 cup or to taste
-Salt 1/4 tsp
-Milk Powder 2 tbsp
- Saffron 1 pinch (soaked in milk)
-Chopped Pistachio & Cashew nuts 2 tbsp
-Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
- Condensed milk 1/2 Cup
