Ingredients:
300 grams boneless chicken pieces

Marinade:
Half a lemon
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp plain yoghurt or curd
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp fennel powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp besan or gram flour

Method:
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the marinade and give them a good mix
2. Add a splash of water and mix all the ingredients with no lumps. Ensure batter is still thick
3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat it well
4. Set aside the chicken for at least 1 hour
5. Deep fry the chicken in high flame until golden in color
6. Serve it with a wedge of lemon
