Rava (Semolina) Kesari ❤️ These melt-in-your-mouth dessert is so amazing!!

Ingredients:
250g semolina
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup ghee (or butter)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
12-15 cashews
2 tbsp raisins
A pinch of yellow food colour (or use saffron)

Recipe:
Heat 2 tbsp ghee and add the cashews. When it’s golden, add the raisins and fry until brown and keep aside. In the same pan add some more ghee and roast the semolina until golden. Pour 500ml water into a pan and add the cardamom powder and colour when it’s boiled. Stir for a minute and add the roasted semolina and keep stirring. Make sure there are no lumbs and add sugar when it’s mixed thoroughly. Keeping the flame on low & stir well until the sugar dissolves. Add rest of the ghee and half of the cashews and raisins. Stir it for 5 minutes and grease a flat bowl with ghee and add the rest of the cashews and raisins. Add the kesari into the bowl and keep it to set. When it’s cooled, flip the bowl into a plate and cut it into slices. Enjoyy!!
