Cut the paneer pieces into square shaped strips. 2. Put them all in a bowl and add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, chaat masala powder. 3. Mix it all well and keep the paneer pieces aside. 4. For the batter, take maida, besan, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ajwain, kasuri methi, coriander leaves and baking soda in a bowl. 5. Beat it all slightly and mix the batter. Keep it aside for 10 mins. 6. Heat the oil in a kadai. 7. Dip each paneer strip in the besan mixture and then gently drop them into the kadai. 8. Fry the pakoras until they are nicely golden in color on all sides on a medium low flame. 9. Remove them from the kadai and serve them hot with some mint chutney / tomato ketchup by the side. For the Mint Chutney 1. Take mint leaves, coriander leaves, shallots, ginger, green chilli, roasted peanuts, amchur powder, cumin powder, juice of 1 lemon, black salt. 2. Add a little water. 3. Grind it all into a smooth paste. 4. Transfer the mint chutney into a bowl and keep it aside. Pakoras are Indians' favorite evening snacks. There are many types of pakoras we make and enjoy. Once such street food style recipe is this amazing Paneer pakora. The method is pretty straight-forward for this one. All you need for this pakora is besan and a few spice powders that are regularly available in our kitchens. And in this video, I have shown an interesting and easy pudina chutney/ mint chutney that goes along with the fritters.
