Today i'll show you how to make a Jamaican beef patty outdoor cooking. Now like most famous restaurants, the exact ingredients are unknown and you can only hope it comes out half as close to the original, or you bake something that is amazing all on it's own. This version was my take on the beef patty which came out delicious. Feel free to share your recipes and how you bake this popular Jamaican street food.
Patty meat recipe
2 small shushito peppers minced
2 scotch bonnet pepper, 1 with seed minced
1 stalk escellion chopped
1 thumb of ginger minced
1 clove roasted garlic
1 small roasted bell pepper
1 garlic minced
4 pimento seeds crushed
1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped
1lb ground beef
2 tbl spoons oyster sauce
Season to taste
Dough ingredients
All purpose flour
salt
honey or sugar
Curry powder (To desired color, too much will give a curry flavouring FYI)
Shortening or lard
Butter
