how to make lemongrass chicken
Vietnamese lemongrass chicken recipe
Recipe:
1lb chicken thighs
3tbs lemongrass
4 garlic
1 shallot
2tbs oil
3tbs fish sauce
3tbs sugar
2tbs vinegar
1/4tsp black pepper
1/2tsp salt
- Chop everything up in a blender/food processor/mortar and pestle
- Add to the chicken and marinade for at least 24 hours.
- Grill it, pan sear or broil it. Make sure to get a nice sear and caramelize the sugars (:
- Enjoy w/ rice, noodles, cucumber, lime, mint and cilantro
