This is one of those homemade Korean recipes EVERYONE should have in their recipe book. A quick and easy to make recipe which is similar to bulgogi, but using ground beef instead of sliced beef. It has all the flavors you expect in Korean BBQ, but you save some cash using ground beef. Try out this easy bulgogi recipe and let me know in the comments how it turns out!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
3 cloves of chopped garlic (or garlic powder)
2 stalks of green onion
Sesame seeds
Jasmine rice
Bulgogi Sauce Ingredients:
¼ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup soy sauce
2-3 teaspoons sesame oil
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon red pepper
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Brown ground beef on medium heat in a pan(drain if necessary).
Add garlic and sliced green onions.
Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red and black peppers into a bowl and mix.
Pour mixture onto your ground beef, cover, and simmer for 1 minute.
Garnish with green onion, and top with sesame seeds.
Serve with Jasmine rice and enjoy!
