Jaan-e-mann is about a couple Suhaan and Piya who elope to get married to each other. Suhaan aspires to become a superstar and his career aspirations force him to stay away from Piya. Piya leaves him thinking she would become an obstacle for his career. Suhaan comes back to Piya only to realise that Piya has left him. Later he receives a divorce notice which breaks him completely. Suhaan has still not made it big and faces difficulty in paying the alimonyy amount to Piya. Suhaan and his uncle meet Agastya and want him to marry Piya so that Suhaan doesn't have to pay the alimony. In this process Suhaan and Piya realise they still love each other. Will they unite again or will they move on in life?
