How To Make Butter Chicken At Home | Restaurant Style Recipe |

washed chicken pieces - 1 kg
(bone or boneless)
oil - 1tbsp vegetable oil )
kashmiri chilly - 1tbsp
we do this as in the oil,the chilly powder
best bleeds out its natuaral colour
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
thick curd - 2 tbsp
salt -1/2 tsp
mix them well
keep aside
ginger paste - 1tsp
garlic paste - 1tsp
lemon juice - 1tsp
mix well
add prepared masala
mix well
cover & rest for atleast 30 minutes
heat 1 tsp oil
1 -big onion#
4 to 6 garlic pods
1 inch - gingetr
1 bay leaf
1 mace of nutmeg jathipathri
4 cloves
4 cardomom
4 to 5 green chilly
2 kashmiri chilly - remove seed ( optional )
15 to 20 cashewnuts
5 medium size riped tomatoes
2 cups water
stir it
cover & cook medium flame around 10 minutes
after 10 minutes turn off the flame
keep aside
let it cool down ,grind - fine paste
heat 2 tsp oil
add marinated chicken pieces
shalow fry
low to medium flame
around 2to 3 minutes flip it
cook another side of chicken pieces around 3 minutes
take grilled chicken pieces
keep aside
grind cooked veggies
sieve - grind puree using 1/ 2 cup water ( 100 ml )
(after sieving curyy looks smooth)
heat 3tbsp butter ( 2tbsp butter + 1 tbsp oil ) at low flame
1 tsp kashmiri red chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
stir it around 30 to 40 seconds
flame must be low
add tomato puree
stir it medium flame
cover & cook 3 minutes
stir in between
after 3 minutes stir it well
add grilled chicken pieces
stir it
cover & cook - 10 minutes at low flame
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
( kasuri methi )
stir it
3 tbsp cooking cream ( adjust your taste)
combine them well
1 tbsp tomato ketch up or i tsp sugar ( optional )
stir
cover & cook low flame 2to 3 minutes
a
tunn off flame
add i cube butter & 1 tsp cream
our tasty yummy mouth watering butter chicken is ready
butter chicken is probably one of the most popular punjabi
serve it with hot roti, pulao....etc
