Margoog with chicken Kuwaiti dish. How to cook margoog with chicken Easy to cook a saucy delicious margoog. If you want learn how to cook margoog just follow my recipe. Ingredients: 1 whole chicken cut into pieces 1 potato 1 carrot 1 wax gourd 1 eggplant 2 blended tomatoes 1 onion chop 2 smashed garlic 1 dry lemon 1 cinnamon stick 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp mixed spice 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 3 tbsp tomato paste 4 pcs margoog bread cut in medium size 1 litter water 3 tbsp oil Process: -in a pot add oil,sauté onion and garlic until the onion is translucent. -add the chicken cook until it’s lil brown. -add the spices,mixed spice,cumin,coriander, turmeric,black pepper and salt mixed until the chicken is well coated. -add dry lemon,cinnamon stick and bay leaf mixed all together. -add the blended tomatoes and tomato paste simmer for 3 minutes. -add 1 litter of water cover and let it boil for 30 minutes. -add the veggies,potato,carrot and wax gourd after 10 minutes add the eggplant and let it boil for another 5 minutes. -add the bread lil by little and make sure to deep it good until it absorbed the sauce. -enjoy!
