Try this afghani chicken karahi recipe for iftar today. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion #ChickenKarahi #StreetFood Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/3OIYn7F Highway Style Afghani Chicken Karahi Serves 3-4 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Tamatar (Tomatoes) 5 medium -Water ½ Cup -Cooking oil ½ Cup -Chicken mix boti 750g -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs -Hari mirch (Green chillies) deseeded & julienne 5-6 -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 & ½ tsp -Garam masala powder ½ tsp -Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped -Adrak (Ginger) julienne Directions: -Cut tomatoes in half & place them in a frying pan. -Add water & bring it to boil,cover & cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes,remove tomato skin, discard & let them cool. -In blender jug,add tomatoes,blend to make puree & set aside. -In a wok,add cooking oil & heat it. -Add chicken & mix well until it changes color. -Add ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes. -Add green chillies,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes. -Add puree tomatoes,mix well & cook for 8-10 minutes or until oil separates. -Add salt,black pepper powder,garam masala powder,mix well & cook for a minute. -Add yogurt,mix well & cook until oil separates. -Garnish with fresh coriander,ginger & serve with naan! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Tamatar (Tomatoes) 5 medium -Water ½ Cup -Cooking oil ½ Cup -Chicken mix boti 750g -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs -Hari mirch (Green chillies) deseeded & julienne 5-6 -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 & ½ tsp -Garam masala powder ½ tsp -Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped -Adrak (Ginger) julienne Directions: -Tamatar ko bech mein cut ker lein aur frying pan mein rakh dein. -Pani dal ker ubal lein aur dhak ker darmiyani ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein,tamatar ki skin ko nikal ker discard ker dein aur tamatar thanday ker lein. -Blender jug mein tamatar dal dein aur blend ker ka puree tayyar ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Karahi mein cooking oil dal ker garam karein. -Chicken dal dein aur rang tabdeel hunay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein. -Hari mirchein dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 1-2 minutes kliya paka lein. -Puree tamatar dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 8-10 minutes or oil alag ho janay tak paka lein. -Namak,kali mirch powder aur garam masala powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein. -Dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur oil alag ho janay tak paka lein. -Hara dhania aur adrak sa garnish ker lein & naan ka saath serve karein!
