Red chicken, a dish that is extremely finger-licking good. The presentation, the aroma, the taste and the flavour everything together made it a masterpiece. Do watch the video and you'll know yourself.
Ingredients:-
2kg of chicken
100 grams cashew nut paste
1/2 kg tomatoes (Pureed)
3 tbsp ginger garlic & chilli
50 grams bayadgi red chillies
1 bulb garlic
(soak chillies, add salt and garlic make into paste)
250ml oil
100 grams curd
2 tsp garam masala
200ml fresh cream
4 medium-size chopped onions
Salt according to taste
Method:-
Wash chicken thoroughly and marinate with ginger, garlic, chilli paste and salt then keep it aside for 2-3 hours or overnight would be much better.
In a pan heat oil and add chicken, let it sear. Then add chopped onions cook for some time then add red chilli paste and tomato puree. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Then add curd, cashew nut paste, garam masala powder then cover and cook till the chicken is tender. Finally, add fresh cream, cook for a few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with Chapatis, Paratha or Jeera Rice...
