1 pound of 80/20 ground beef chuck
1 large onion, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
FOR THE SAUCE
2 tablespoons of brown sugar (or honey), more or less to taste
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/4 low sodium soy sauce (or regular soy sauce)
1/4 cup of water
SERVE WITH
