Andhra chilli chicken or Green chilli chicken is a spicy South Indian dish. It is a very tasty side dish that pairs great with ghee rice or jeera rice also it can be a perfect party and regular day dish for lunch and dinner. A very bachelor friendly recipe too. I like to serve the chilli chicken with rice. It goes perfectly well with dal, rasam etc…
INGREDIENTS:
For Marination -
Chicken - 750 grms
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 1 1/2 tbsp
Green Chilli - 7 - 8
Coriander leaves - 1 cup
Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
Water as needed
For gravy preparation -
Cinnamon - 2 inch
Green Cardamom - 3
Cloves - 6
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
Curry leaves - 1 - 2 strings
Onion - 1
