Many people don't realize how important good nutrition is to the health of their eyes. Christa from Lake Country Optometry shows how to make a delicious smoothie that combines Omega 3s, vitamins C & E and a bunch of antioxidants I can barely pronounce (namely Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Beta-Carotene) to fight dry eyes, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Gather the following ingredients: 1 cup Leafy Greens (kale, spinach, parsley etc) 1/2 Avocado 1/2 Orange Pepper 1 small handful grapes 1 cup almond milk Blend and pour From our kitchen to yours; Cheers!
