In this video, I am featuring Snowy Dessert Korean Dessert Cafe. Snowy Dessert has locations all over the world. A dessert place known for bingsu or bingsoo. This was my first time ever trying Bingsu and I really liked it. The idea of using ice shavings with other ingredients is very popular in Asian Cultures. I am filipino canadian so we have a similar dessert called halo-halo that I make at home so safe to say I’ve acquired this taste a long time ago. If you haven’t tried bingsu yet Definitely try it!
Bingsu or bingsoo: is a very popular and elaborate snack/dessert in Korea and other Asian countries, especially during the summer season. This snack is composed of ice shavings and various ingredients such as sweetened condensed milk, fruit syrups, various fruits such as strawberries, kiwifruit, and bananas, small pieces of tteok (rice cake), chewy jelly bits, and cereal flakes. It is often topped with ice cream or frozen yogurt.
