Easy Salisbury Steak

1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef
20 Saltine Crackers – crushed
1 Medium Onion – diced
2 Eggs
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 Tbsp Oil
1 C Water
1 C Beef Broth
1 Pkg Onion Soup Mix
2 Tbsp Flour

In a large bowl add ground beef, onion, crushed crackers, salt, pepper & eggs. Mix well. Shape into
patties.

Heat oil in a large skillet. Fry patties until browned on each side approx 4 – 5 minutes each side. Remove from pan.

Add flour to pan, stir until well blended. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes until flour is no longer raw. Add water & beef broth, stirring while scrapping the pan. Add in the onion soup mix and stir until combined. Add patties back to pan and simmer until fully cooked.

Sauce will thicken as the patties heat up.
