Here's an easy Chicken Korma recipe designed for busy moms, featuring straightforward steps and common kitchen ingredients: Easy Chicken Korma Recipe Ingredients: ¼ cup cooking oil 1¼ cups onion, thinly sliced Whole spices: 2 cinnamon sticks, 5 cardamoms, 4 cloves, 2 bay leaves 1 tbsp garlic paste 1½ tbsp ginger paste 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces 1½ tsp salt (adjust to taste) 6-7 green chilies, slit 2 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp garam masala ½ cup water 1½ tbsp raisins (kishmish) 2 tbsp cashew paste 1 cup hot milk 1 tbsp ghee 1 tbsp powdered milk A small pinch of sugar Fried onions for garnish Instructions: Heat the Oil: In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Sauté Onions and Spices: Add the sliced onions and whole spices (cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves). Cook until the onions turn light pink. Add Pastes: Stir in the garlic and ginger pastes. Sauté for 30-40 seconds. Cook Chicken: Add the chicken pieces, salt, and green chilies. Mix well. Add Dry Spices: Sprinkle in the cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir to combine. Simmer: Pour in ½ cup of water. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add Nuts and Milk: Mix in the raisins and cashew paste. Then, add the hot milk, ghee, powdered milk, and a pinch of sugar. Stir well. Final Cook: Cover and let it simmer on low heat for another 15 minutes. Garnish and Serve: Once the korma is cooked, garnish with fried onions. Serve hot with pulao or parathas for a delicious meal.
