I made my own version of beef stroganoff with braising steak and mushrooms for a weekend meal. This can be one of your quick party meal to serve on guests that you can garnish with parsley and serve with pasta or rice.There are many versions of stroganoff, some using brandy, mustard, stock or crème fraiche. My recipe is made a little simplier ingredients and made creamier with double (heavy) cream or sour cream. I used the beef braising steak with a liitle bit of fat in it then slow cooked with red wine and my husband loves it so much. Braising steak is a lot cheaper than rib eye so it’s budget friendly too!
