Hello mga Ka-Kusina! Welcome back to The Kusinera At Its Finest. Today we’re cooking a Pinoy-style Salt and Pepper Pork—crispy pork belly tossed in butter, chili, and a homemade salt and pepper mix. This dish is packed with flavor and perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
1 kilo pork belly
Juice of 2 lemons
Knorr Liquid Seasoning
2 tsp Himalayan salt
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp black pepper
Cornstarch
Butter
Green chilis
Red & green bell peppers
Red onion
Steps:
1. Marinate pork belly in lemon juice and Knorr seasoning for 30 mins.
2. Mix salt, sugar, and black pepper.
3. Coat pork in cornstarch and fry until golden.
4. Sauté chili, bell peppers, and onion in butter.
5. Toss in pork and season to taste with the salt and pepper mix.
