Choco-nut Squares is an easy baked #ContinentalFestiveDessert made during Christmas. This #ChoconutSquares is made using dark chocolate, maida, eggs, and almonds. You can now make this #Hausfraunde with Cookd’s simple recipe and serve it. Do try this recipe and share your feedback with us.
Choco-nut Squares Recipe:
Egg - 2 no
Sugar - 135 gm
Flour - 135 gm
Baking Powder - A Pinch
Almonds (chopped) - 135 gm
Raisins (chopped) - 135 gm
Dark Chocolate (chopped) - 135 gm
Vanilla Essence - ½ tsp
Icing:
Icing Sugar - ½ Cup
Milk - 3 tsp
Honey - 1 tsp
Cooking Instructions:
1. Whisk the eggs and sugar until light and foamy.
2. Add and mix the rest of the ingredients to form a thick batter.
3. Spread as a sheet onto a baking paper and bake at 180 C for 20 mins, until golden brown.
4. To make the icing, whisk the milk, icing sugar and honey until thick and spreadable inconsistency.
5. Cut into fingers/ squares while still warm and add the icing on top as needed.
6. Cool completely prior to serving.
Cooking Tips:
1. Cut desired shapes while still warm.
2. Add the icing while still warm.
