Chicken rasam and fry recipe in Tamil | Chicken recipes | Chicken soup | Arusuvai Azhini


In this video, learn how to prepare chicken rasam and fry. RECIPE: CHICKEN RASAM AND FRY INGREDIENTS: Chicken- 1 kg Ginger garlic paste- 2 spoon Chilli powder- 1.5 spoon Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 spoon Turmeric powder- 1 spoon Pepper- 1.5 spoon Salt- as required Oil- as required Onion- 1(chopped) Green chilli- 1(slitted) Tomato- 1(chopped) Coriander leaves for garnishing Curry leaves METHOD OF PREPARATION: 1. In a pressure cooker, add chicken, 1/2 spoon turmeric powder, 1/2 spoon salt and half a cup of water. Cover and cook for one whistle. 2. Rest until the pressure settles. 3. Transfer the cooked chicken into a bowl. 4. In the chicken broth, add cooked wings and few boneless pieces for preparing rasam. Also add the chopped onion, tomatoes, green chilli, 1/2 spoon chilli powder, 1/2 spoon pepper, salt(as required), 1/2 spoon ginger garlic paste and mix well. Cover the pressure cooker and cook for another 2 whistles. 5. Now for preparing fry, add chilli powder, salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste to the chicken and marinate for 15 mins. 6. After 15 mins, add 2 spoon of oil in a heat pan and season with fennel. 7. Add curry leaves onces the fennel seeds turn brown. 8. After spluttering curry leaves, add the marinated chicken and continue roasting for another 15-20 mins(until the chicken turns golden brown) 9. Chicken rasam and fry is ready to serve.
