Chicken Pickled Pyaz #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/3Jcuust Chicken Pickled Onion (Khattay Pyaz) Serves 4-5 Recipe in English: Ingredients: Prepare Pickled Onion (Khattay Pyaz): -Water 2 Cups -Sirka (Vinegar) ½ Cup -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp -Choti pyaz (Small onions) 12-13 Prepare Curry (Chicken & Khattay Pyaz): -Pyaz (Onion) 3 medium -Cooking oil ¼ Cup -Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp -Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped 2-3 medium -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste -Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp -Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) powder 1 tsp -Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp -Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 4-5 tbs -Boneless chicken cubes ½ kg -Water 1 & ½ Cup or as required -Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tsp -Hari mirch (Green chillies) sliced 1-2 -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped Directions: Prepare Pickled Onion (Khattay Pyaz): -In a saucepan,add water,vinegar,salt,mix well & bring it to boil. -Add small onions,mix well and bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame in vinegar water for 3-4 minutes then strain onion & set aside for later use. Prepare Curry (Chicken & Khattay Pyaz): -In a bowl,grate onions with the help of grater & set aside. -In a wok,add cooking oil,cumin seeds & mix well. -Add grated onions,mix well & cook for 3-4 minutes. -Add tomatoes,ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook until tomatoes are soft (3-4 minutes). -Add salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,kashmiri red chilli powder,cumin powder,yogurt,mix well & cook on medium flame until oil separates (3-4 minutes). -Add chicken,mix well & cook for 4-5 minutes. -Add water,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on medium flame for 12-15 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates. -Add pickled onions,dried fenugreek leaves,green chilli,fresh coriander and mix well,cover & simmer on low flame for a minute. -Garnish with fresh coriander & serve with boiled rice! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: Prepare Pickled Onion (Khattay Pyaz): -Water 2 Cups -Sirka (Vinegar) ½ Cup -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp -Choti pyaz (Small onions) 12-13 Prepare Curry (Chicken & Khattay Pyaz): -Pyaz (Onion) 3 medium -Cooking oil ¼ Cup -Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp -Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped 2-3 medium -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste -Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp -Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) powder 1 tsp -Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp -Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 4-5 tbs -Boneless chicken cubes ½ kg -Water 1 & ½ Cup or as required -Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tsp -Hari mirch (Green chillies) sliced 1-2 -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped Directions: Prepare Pickled Onion (Khattay Pyaz): -Saucepan mein pani,sirka aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay dein. -Choti pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur halki ancch per 3-4 minutes kliya vinegar water mein paka lein phir pyaz ko strain ker lein aur bad mein use kernay kliya side per rakh dein. Prepare Curry (Chicken & Khattay Pyaz): -Bowl mein pyaz ko grater ki madad sa grate ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Karahi mein cooking oil aur zeera dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Grated pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 3-4 minutes kliya paka lein. -Tamatar aur adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur tamatar naram ho janay tak paka lein (3-4 minutes). -Namak,haldi powder,lal mirch powder,dhania powder,Kashmiri lal mirch powder,zeera powder aur dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per oil alag ho janay tak paka lein (3-4 minutes). -Chicken dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein. -Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad darmiyani ancch per 12-15 minutes kliya paka lein phir tez ancch per oil alag ho janay tak paka lein. -Pickled pyaz,kasuri methi,hari mirch aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker halki ancch per ek minute kliya paka lein. -Hara dhania sa garnish ker lein aur boiled chawal ka saath serve karein.
