Chicken Katsu Recipe ? Ingredients:
- Chicken thigh
- Flour
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- Ketchup - worcestershire
- Soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Oyster sauce
- Vinegar
Instructions:
1. Flatten chicken
2. Prepare the steps for chicken coating: 1C flour season with 1TSP salt & pepper, x1 whisked egg (good for two chicken thighs), 1C Panko breadcrumbs season with 1TSP Salt & Pepper
3. Chicken coating: Coat chicken in flour, cover in egg wash, then pack in panko breadcrumbs
4. Oil 365, chopstick check the oil β when oil comes to heat after 5-10 mins place tip chopstick in and if it bubbles then itβs ready to fry in
5. 4-5 mins each side till golden brown
6. Thin slice cabbage
7. Tonkatsu Sauce: 2TBS ketchup, 2TBS Oyster Sauce, 1TBS Worcester, 1TBS brown sugar, Β½ TBS vinegar - MIX
8. Serve chicken over bed of cabbage and rice with katsu drizzle
9. EAT
