Chicken Curry Recipe | Kerala Spicy Chicken Curry | Nadan Kozhi Curry#


Ingredients :

Chicken-1/2 Kg
Coconut Oil- 3 Tbsp

For Marination:

Turmeric powder-1/2Tsp
Chilli Powder-1Tsp
Coriander Powder-1Tsp
Garam masala Powder-1Tsp
Salt- As per taste
Lemon Juice ( 1/2 a lemon)
Pepper Powder- 1 Tsp

For Masala Making:

Ginger-big piece
Garlic-5-6 cloves
Green chilli -2
Big Onion-2
Tomato-2 small
Turmeric powder-1/2Tsp
Chilli Powder-1Tsp
Coriander Powder-2Tsp
Garam masala Powder-1Tsp
Salt- As per taste
Water -1/2 Glass
Coriander & Pudina Leaves

Method:

Take a non stick kadai , heat oil add Sliced Big Onions and Salt & saute

Then add Ginger,Garlic & Green Chilly Paste.

Saute well..when raw smell goes add Turmeric Powder , Coriander Powder , Red Chilly Powder, Garam Masala Powder & .saute well . Then add Chopped Tomatos. Mix it well, when the Tomato turn Mushy, add marinated Chicken in to it & mix well

Then add 1/2 glass of water . Close the kadai with a lid and allow it to cook for 15 minutes in a low flame stirring occasionally .

By that time u can see water coming out from the chicken,let the chicken cook in that water (if you want more gravy, you can add more water)

In between open the kadai and stir well . You can check the salt..(If necessary add salt).Cook for another few minutes or until the gravy become medium thick .When the chicken is cooked add Coriander & Pudina leaves .Close the kadai for few minutes ..

Transfer in to the serving bowl and serve with Rice ,Apam,Chapati & Pathiri
