Carrot Kheer| Carrot Payasam |Dessert Recipes


Ingredients Carrots-4 (big) Sugar- 1/2 cup Milk- 3 cups Condensed Milk- 1/2 cup Corn flour- 1/2 tbsp Mixed Nuts- 2 tbsp Cardamom powder- a pinch Water-1/2 cup Salt - a pinch Pressure Cook the chopped carrots for 3 whistles. Puree the cooked carrots by adding 1/4th cup of water. Meanwhile boil the milk, add in sugar, condensed milk and cardamom powder. Cook it for 10 min and add in corn flour mixture and stir it continuously to avoid lump formation. Switch off the flame after 2 min. Roast thinly sliced coconut pieces, almonds, cashews and pistachios in ghee. Add in roasted nuts and coconut to the prepared kheer. Serve it warm or chilled.
