Ingredients :
To marinate chicken:
Chicken - 500 g (boneless)
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Curd - ¼ cup (3 tbsp)
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Garam masala - ½ tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp (to fry)
To make masala paste:
Butter - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 (roughly chopped)
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Tomatoes - 4 (roughly chopped)
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts - 30
Water - 1 cup (250 ml)
Salt to taste
To make butter chicken gravy:
Butter - 2 or 3 tbsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Whipping cream or fresh cream - 100 ml
Dried Fenugreek leaves - 2 tsp
