Today am sharing an Arabic dessert kunafa/ kanafeh. Kanafeh is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with thin noodle-like pastry, or alternatively fine semolina dough, soaked in sweet, sugar-based syrup, and typically layered with cheese, or with other ingredients such as clotted cream or nuts, depending on the region.
Here I use easily available ingredients bread cheese and sugar. Here you can use either knafeh dough or vermicelli.
Ingredients
Bread 8 slices
Fresh cream 100gm
Mozzarella cheese 100 gm
Sugar 1/2 cup
Ghee or butter
Kunafa dough
