Bodybuilding Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Burrito Bowl


Prep Time 20 minutes Cook Time 5 hours 4-6 servings Ingredients: 2 chicken breasts 2 tablespoons of coconut oil 3 teaspoons of chili powder 3 teaspoons of onion powder 2 teaspoons of garlic powder 2 teaspoons of cumin Salt and Pepper to taste 3 cups of chicken broth 1 15 oz can of fire roasted diced tomatoes 1 14 oz can of drained black beans 2.5 cups of white rice 1.5 cups of shredded cheese Directions: Put the chicken in the slow cooker Add chicken broth, coconut oil, diced tomatoes, black beans, and seasonings on top of the chicken Cook on high for 4 hours (low for 6-8) or until the chicken reaches 165 degrees Remove and shred the chicken Add rice and let cook until tender (30-45 minutes) Add chicken back in, throw cheese on top until melted. Serve!
