How to cook Black Bean Chicken & Snow Pea Stir Fry
Welcome to my Asian Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Asian/Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
200g Chicken Breasts (thinly sliced)
100g Snow Peas
1 Spring Onion (roughly chopped)
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
5g Ginger (finely chopped)
1 Tbsp Cooking Wine
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
150g Black Bean Sauce
Method:
1. Place the chicken in a bowl, add the cooking wine, soy sauce. Mix well and leave to marinate for 30 minutes
2. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil over high heat
3. Place chicken in the hot oil, stir-fry for 2 minutes or until it turns light brown, then remove from wok
4. Heat another 1 Tbsp oil in the same wok over high heat
5. Place ginger and garlic into the wok, stir-fry for 10 seconds
6. Add the snow peas, stir-fry for 1 minute
7. Add the black bean sauce and stir-fry for 2 minutes
8. Add the chicken and stir-fry for a minute
9. Add spring onion and stir
10. Serve with rice or noodles and enjoy
